Weirdest pregnancy symptom

We all know pregnancy is weird and does crazy things to your body, but some things are weirder than others.  For instance, my most bizarre symptom this time around?  Claustrophobia!

Okay, I don't know that it's actually claustrophobia, but it's something like that.  I get anxious and feel like I can't breath if someone hugs me for too long.  I can't stand to have both kids sitting on my lap.  There are even certain clothes that I can't wear for too long because I feel trapped in them or something.  It's all very weird.  Definitely looking forward to this symptom going away.

What was your craziest pregnancy symptom?

  1. Yes! "Everyone needs to freaking stop touching me NOW!"

    Heh.

Also, rather suddenly, I couldn't handle rice. It grossed me out and made me want to barf.

  2. I got claustrophobic when I got stuck in traffic in my car. I had to pull over and get a coffee and wait for traffic to clear up. Obviously, I'm never a huge fan of traffic, but it doesn't normally make me all panicky and desperate, except when I was 7 or 8 months pregnant.

  3. So I don't know if this is the same thing you're feeling, but often I get irritated when Jason cuddles up too closely to me. Sometimes it bothers me when he touches me at all. I feel kind of bad about it, but I can't help it.

  4. I had that, too, and it still hasn't gone away. It sticks around as long as I breastfeed. I just want everyone to STEP BACK and give me some space.
