We all know pregnancy is weird and does crazy things to your body, but some things are weirder than others. For instance, my most bizarre symptom this time around? Claustrophobia!
Okay, I don't know that it's actually claustrophobia, but it's something like that. I get anxious and feel like I can't breath if someone hugs me for too long. I can't stand to have both kids sitting on my lap. There are even certain clothes that I can't wear for too long because I feel trapped in them or something. It's all very weird. Definitely looking forward to this symptom going away.
What was your craziest pregnancy symptom?
I had the same thing. Very obnoxious.
ReplyDeleteYes! "Everyone needs to freaking stop touching me NOW!"
ReplyDeleteHeh.
Also, rather suddenly, I couldn't handle rice. It grossed me out and made me want to barf.
I got claustrophobic when I got stuck in traffic in my car. I had to pull over and get a coffee and wait for traffic to clear up. Obviously, I'm never a huge fan of traffic, but it doesn't normally make me all panicky and desperate, except when I was 7 or 8 months pregnant.
ReplyDeleteSo I don't know if this is the same thing you're feeling, but often I get irritated when Jason cuddles up too closely to me. Sometimes it bothers me when he touches me at all. I feel kind of bad about it, but I can't help it.
ReplyDeleteI had that, too, and it still hasn't gone away. It sticks around as long as I breastfeed. I just want everyone to STEP BACK and give me some space.
