I don't know if you noticed, but in my "typical day" post I mentioned reading to my kids. A lot. We have somewhere in the neighborhood of 120 kids books, and while Kalena is interested in most of them (there are still a few that are a little long for her) Will mostly wants me to read dinosaur books. Unfortunately, we only have 5 of those.
SO. Lovely readers. I need you to tell me your favorite kids books that feature dinosaurs. We have 3 from the "How Do Dinosaurs" series, and two other random ones. I'm really hoping some of you have kids who love dinosaurs as much as mine do.
Also, head over to my Food Lush post and give me your advice on bread makers.
Man, I sure am needy today aren't I?
No go on writing about cheeseburgers? I won't be commenting on breadmakers because I know NOTHING about them. But I have a husband who could probably give you some advice on buying one.
ReplyDeleteDanny and the Dinosaur by Syd Hoff, Oh My Oh My Oh Dinosaurs by Sandra Boynton, Dinosaur Train books, DK books (those are usually "learning" books that are LONG),Dinosaur Stomp or Dinosaur Roar both by Paul Stickland, Dinosaurumpus by Tony Mitton....I just went to Amazon and picked a few I know I've read before. You might want to check the library first or Paperback Swap.
ReplyDeleteBread makers - I got mine for $5 at a garage sale. I've used it a couple of times. Mainly for dough (pizza) or rolls. I'm not a huge fan of the breads that they make. I like how mixed they get the dough though.
For dinosaur books we've enjoyed "Dinosaur Wars" - they pit one dinosaur against another and fight to the death! Good stuff :) Maybe not Buster-friendly, though :)
