Want to join us?

During the month of February my mom and I are working on a special project.  We are going to be making an effort to go out of our way every day to do something nice for someone else.  Not just the normal nice things, out of the way nice things.  (Meaning, my making dinner for the family is nice, but doesn't count.  My making dessert, however, would count because I CAN'T EAT ANY.  (Just had to throw that in there.))

So what do you think?  Are you in?

  1. Hmm...this sounds like something I would like to play. But then I think that other things may become distracting... Is changing someone's poopy diaper considered out of the way nice? And then there is the issue of how to do nice things for people when I pretty much just spend all day with myself... How about I play along when it's convenient for me? That's just as good, right?

Also - the bit about making dessert - hilarious.

  2. I'm gonna go ahead and say your making dinner for the family is necessary and logical, not just nice. But yes, dessert is definitely nice of you! And then maybe someone else's nice deed around March 22 would be making dessert for you!
