Kalena: Dada?
Me: Dada is at work.
Kalena: Ba?
(Ba is her word for grandpa, my dad.)

Kalena: Dada?
Me: Dada is at work.
Kalena: Ba?

Apparently I'm not too high on her list of favorite people.
We also play our own little version of Marco Polo when I leave the room. When she realizes I'm gone she'll yell "maMA!" and I'll answer "KaleNA!" and that will go back and forth until she finds me. Sometimes she'll only yell once, like she just wants to make sure I'm still around somewhere. It's pretty cute actually.
I'm not on Eli's favorite people list either. Sometimes he cries for his dad to get him out of his crib instead of mom. So, I turn around and leave him there. When I come back, he is ok with mom getting him out.
ReplyDeleteBut then when he is hurt, he needs his mom to kiss it better.
She's cute. Let's throw an "aunt Kari?" into that fun game
ReplyDeletePatrick has similar conversations. "Dada?" No, dada went to work. "brrrrrm brrrrrm?" Yep, he went to work in his red car. "Dada?" No, dada went to work. "Brrrrm brrrrm?" Yep, he went to work in his red car.
